Skip and Beverly Little are grateful for the opportunity to share the gifts God has given them  to fulfill their purpose and be a blessing to thousands of people. They are encouraging and dynamic speakers, teachers and coaches that use real life examples to help couples and individuals reach their highest potential.

As the Director of the First Baptist Church of Glenarden’s (FBCG) Couples Ministry, Skip serves as the visionary for all of the ministry’s initiatives.  In addition to pastoring the couples, Skip is the Director of Men Connecting with Christ, which is a men’s only Bible study that ministers weekly to over 150 men.  Skip has a unique gift in ministering to the needs of men. He is highly relational, and God uses this gift to mentor and coach hundreds of men who have learned to take their relationship with God to a higher level.

Skip holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Morehouse College and a Master of Divinity from Howard University.

Beverly takes great pride in serving alongside her husband, Skip, in her primary role as the Assistant Director of FBCG’s Couples Ministry. In addition to Beverly’s role as Assistant Director of the Couples Ministry, she also serves as the Director of the FBCG Family Relations Group.  In this capacity she provides oversight to ministries that address Adoption/Infertility, Divorce, Domestic Violence, Kid’s Care, Military Care, Financial Prosperity, Families dealing with Special Needs and the Dynamics of Singleness. With this experience she is equipped to provide additional support to families as needed.

Beverly holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Hampton University, a Master of Business Administration from Old Dominion University, and a Master of Theological Studies from Bethel Seminary.

Skip and Beverly’s educational and practical experience in biblical teaching, marital mentoring and coaching has equipped them to provide loving, sensible and scripturally-based guidance to couples and individuals at every stage of their journey in Christ.

Skip and Beverly’s personal experiences in courting as a Christian couple before marriage  led them to develop the curriculum for the pre-marital course, So You Think You Want To Get Married?  In this class, which has participants from all over the DC Metro area, the Lord has allowed Skip and Beverly to minister to over 1,500 persons in weighing their decision to marry. Together they established Skip and Beverly Ministries, which extends beyond their church to provide biblically-based marital tools to pre-married and married couples.
